When someone makes a donation or purchase through a payment link via a website, the company receiving the payment should be notified when that happens

Great news! This feature already exists. To create a payment link notification simply go to settings in the left-hand navigation, click on the notification tile, and then click the green Add Notification button. In the first drop down select the Payment Link option, enter an amount you want to be notified when the payment is greater than and pick how you would like to be notified.
I have added a screenshot to assist in setting this up.
