Until recently, Card Not Present had a CVV prompt, whereas Card Present Keyed did not. Since the January update, both options prompt for CVV - there is no difference whatsoever in QuickPay between these two options. I would like to suggest going back to no CVV prompt on card present keyed and CVV on card not present.
This change has proven problematic for a non-profit I work with that accepts CNP payment in two ways - donation cards, which do not contain CVV, and over the phone orders or donations, where they can get the CVV. With no CVV they selected card present keyed and processed. With CVV, they processed as card not present.
Since they dont always have the CVV, we've had to disable CVV completely on their account in order to allow them to process. So even half the time when they do have a CVV, they now cant use it. Putting a "dummy" CVV (IE 111) was causing most cards to be declined by the issuer.
